Luka Karsten Breitig is an indie hacker with university degrees in psychology and management. His professional background spans journalism, sales, marketing, IT project management, and political NGO work. As an IT project manager, he supervised programmers and gained deep insights into software development processes. However, driven by a desire for independence in product development, he taught himself to code to bring his own ideas to life without relying on external developers.
He founded The Happy Beavers, a marketing agency that grew to over 150 contractors. Currently, he’s building Directonaut, an AI-powered marketing education platform. As an Estonian e-resident and digital nomad based in Bangkok, Luka’s unique combination of psychological expertise, technical understanding, and experience working with dozens of founders drives his mission. He aims to transform marketing from what he calls a “dark art” into an accessible skill for entrepreneurs. After years of working with AI tools, he’s become an expert at using them to build better products faster, combining his project management experience with hands-on development skills to create more effective solutions independently. Unlike traditional programmers who might struggle to unlearn established coding habits, Luka learned programming in the age of AI, and is now advising fellow coders on how to improve their productivity.
